BPW’s various levels host several events throughout the year. Whether it’s a national convention or a local club meeting, all events aim to engage women and make an impact.
BPW Bowmanville’s monthly meetings bring together women from Bowmanville, Clarington and beyond in a spirit of friendship, collaboration and personal development. See our Monthly Program details below.
“Remembering the Past – The Future is Ours”
Join us for a special evening that reminds us that by “Remembering our Past, the Future is ours to Create”. As we learn from the past, participants are inspired to co-create a “future vision” for an equal and equitable Canada 75 years into the future. Hope to see you there!
SAVE THE DATE: Thursday, October 16, 2025
6:00 – 9:00 PM @ Three Six Kitchen Restaurant (36 King St E, Bowmanville, ON L1C 1N2)
Rosemary Ganley, journalist, author, activist, and recent recipient of the Order of Canada, will take us on a reflective journey of how the milestones of the feminist movement across the past 75 years have impacted the lives of women and their families in tangible ways within our own community, across the region and nation.
The recognition of a current-day inspirational influencer and future leader and change maker will top off the evening.
This invigorating evening of Remembering, Relearning and Recommitment to an equitable future where all can thrive demonstrates our work is not done. It reignites and reinforces that by remembering the past, honouring the present and future possibilities, the future is truly ours to create. Join us!
Everyone is welcome; more details coming soon.
