Membership in BPW offers women many opportunities and many benefits. Women working at all levels and in all occupational sectors can share resources and build a strong support network of women leading in business, the community and government. Our advocacy work gives women a voice and chance to be involved in shaping current and future issues that affect women in Canada and around the world. Clubs provide a safe and supportive “training ground” to develop leadership skills, broaden your sphere of influence, establish a worldwide network and create lasting friendships. Members can participate in a range of activities that lead to personal and professional development and career advancement.
A member of a local club is automatically a member of the district, provincial, national, and international organizations. She is entitled to attend all events, including provincial conferences, national conventions and international congress. She is also entitled to be part of BPW Canada’s delegation to the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations in New York each February, and attend the many additional programs and events available to BPW members.
