After volunteering and working with the Community Advocacy and Legal Centre in Belleville, Ontario where she assisted low-income residents in employment, human rights, landlord & tenant and social benefits law, Corinna completed her Articles of Clerkship with one of Canada’s leading labour law firms, CaleyWray Labour & Employment Lawyers where she represented public and private sector trade unions. Corinna was called to the Ontario Bar in January, 2013.
Corinna is also currently serving her 3rd term as the Local Councillor for Ward 3 in Clarington.

Carrie believes in giving back to the community, particularly in ways that help empower women. She is proud to be a member of BPW, an organization that shares that vision.
She enjoys travelling, yoga, traditional rug hooking, curling and is an avid reader.

Terry likes to travel, especially to Greece where she spent four years on sabbatical years with her husband John, who is a Classics professor, and has gone every April for the month for the last ten years. She likes white wine, line dancing at the BOAA, yard sales, spending time with family (NOT at the cottage, aka “work camp”), cuddling with her grand-puppies, reading, crosswords, opera and country music.

Achieving her Teaching and Training Adults Certification from Durham College opened doors to range of exciting opportunities and diverse resume. She is often reminded when new members join the club, of how if felt as a relatively young inexperienced career women with little or know knowledge of BPW. Although, it can feel overwhelming to see the rich depth of careers, and BPW experience in the room, BPW acknowledges that we are all women in the making, and each woman and member has so much to offer and gain from coming together for the shared purpose and goals of BPW.
When not at meetings or working, Pat make time for close friends and family. Pat is an ardent cat lover and would include all of her precious furry family members here. All of her family and friends are her strength and heart, brining joy and lifting me up when things get tough.

Sheila reports that BPW has contributed greatly to her professional advancement and business success over the years. It gave her the confidence to shift from a career in social work to the female-under-represented world of manufacturing.
"The dedicated women of BPW offer a welcoming supportive network and lasting friendships that no other organization could. It carried me through the pressures of holding down a full-time job, raising a young family and endless late-night studies to transition from individual counseling and launch a career that would address the systemic and organizational factors influencing the full engagement of women in the economic, political and social aspects of daily life. I have been privileged to be a part of this dynamic network and am honoured to have the opportunity to continue to grow and learn and to give back to the organization in a variety of leadership roles at all the Local Club, Provincial, National, and International levels."
In the everchanging journey of life, Sheila looks forward to spending time with her husband, family, and friends, traveling, going to the theater, reading a good book, and knitting for her grand-daughters.
Working to advance gender equality for women and girls in all their diversity is what fills Sheila with joy.
